In advance of 4/20, on April 18th, 2019, cannabis, technology, civics, and big business converged at the Los Angeles World Affairs Council & Town Hall. Daniel Yi represented MedMen, Lindsey Horvath spoke on behalf of the City of West Hollywood, Tyler Beurlein represented Hypur, and Kelly Radkowski from Cannasure, an insurance agency dealing exclusively within the cannabis industry.

Each panelist spoke about how cannabis affects the way in which they do business and how not only the culture is changing because of the substance, but how the business landscape is being revolutionized as well. However, because of the federal law that prohibits cannabis sales from being deposited into banks, there is a major problem afoot.

Watch below as each expert talks about the current cannabis cash crisis.
