WHAT DO WE STILL NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HEALTH INSURANCE EXCHANGES? ANTHEM BLUE CROSS PRESIDENT MARK MORGAN TO PROVIDE UPDATE TO TOWN HALL L.A. JUNE 12, 2014

Los Angeles, CA – “The Impact of Health Insurance Exchanges: What We Know and What We Don’t Know” is the topic of a talk to be given by Anthem Blue Cross President Mark Morgan to Town Hall Los Angeles on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the City Club Los Angeles. Town Hall’s audience Q&A will offer an opportunity for Angelenos to ask questions of an industry leader – on this issue directly impacting their lives.

How is the implementation of the exchange marketplace going in 2014? And what can be expected in 2015? In 2010, California was the first state to apply the provisions of the Affordable Care Act by creating the health care marketplace, Covered California. Anthem Blue Cross provides insurances for 30% of Covered California’s market exchange enrollees.

This program continues Town Hall Los Angeles’ ongoing effort to educate the public on all aspects of health care, including policy and medical advancements.
