Members' Only Event - Peterson Automotive Museum Vault Tour
Exclusive for Town Hall Los Angeles Members! A private “behind the scenes” tour of the Peterson Automotive Museum’s “Vault” – home to vehicles representing 100-plus years of automotive history, including those rarely been seen by the public and typically not on display in the Museum’s galleries. Our own docent will guide us through the Vault’s treasures while sharing stories about the cars in the diverse collection including those owned by celebrities and public figures such as Elvis, Fred Astaire, AJ Foyt, Imelda Marcos and many more. Part of the Vault’s collection is the last car Robert F. Kennedy rode in before he was assassinated at the Ambassador Hotel. This program is a fascinating trip through time, framed by these historic automobiles.
Thanks to the Peterson’s hospitality, there is no charge for this private Town Hall Members’ event ($35.00 per person value.) Register early – first come, first serve – space is limited. Come to the museum early to browse the other exhibits before our exclusive tour starts at 4:15 p.m.
