Town Hall Los Angeles welcomes Los Angeles Times Columnist Patt Morrison for “Coffee and Conversations” as she talks about her new book — “Don’t Stop the Presses: Truth, Justice and the American Newspaper.”

The press’s mission is uniquely set out in the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights. Morrison describes the importance of newspapers and documents the impact of the medium. Her wit and remarkable journalistic wisdom are amplified by the histories of the papers, people, places and events that captivated America and its front pages. Her book will be available for purchase and signing. Register early – seating is limited for these informal, intimate conversations with continental breakfast service.
