LA Rams: A New Era in Los Angeles
Kevin Demoff, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams returned to the City of Angels in 2016 after a 21-year absence. On Nov. 17, the Rams broke ground in Inglewood on the LA Stadium and Entertainment District at Hollywood Park – a 298-acre urban village anchored by the region’s most important new shopping street, restaurants, and multiple major sports and entertainment venues. The village includes two million square feet of Class A commercial space, 2,500 modern residences, a 70,000 seat NFL stadium, 6,000 seat performing arts venue, and 25 acres of public parks. The stadium, scheduled to open in 2019, will host Super Bowl LV in 2021 and is a key part of LA 2024’s bid for the Olympic Games. Join Kevin Demoff as he talks about the economic impact of the district as well as the NFL’s presence – with two hometown teams – and Los Angeles’ appeal as a major sports and entertainment destination.
