Los Angeles, CA ??" Wednesday, March 19, 2008 ??" Michael Hais and Morley Winograd, authors of ???Millennial Makeover: MySpace, YouTube, and the Future of American Politics, will speak with Lee Brenner, Executive Producer of Political Programming for MySpace on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at The National Center for the Preservation of Democracy.


The authors of Millennial Makeover discuss how America???s newest civic generation, the Millennials, are transforming politics with technology in this year???s election. The book predicts a shift in government and the forces of the millennial generation affecting it. By explaining previous shifts, or ???political makeovers, the authors examine how this adjustment will be different, and will depend completely on technology.


Hais served over a decade as Vice President of Entertainment Research at communications research firm Frank N. Magid Associates, which has conducted studies on the Millennials interest in politics. Winograd is the Executive Director of the Center for Telecom Management at USC???s Marshall School of Business. He served as Vice President Gore???s Senior Policy Advisor in the National Partnership for Reinventing Government.


Brenner is the Director of IMPACT (Public Affairs) & Executive Producer of Political Programming for MySpace. Prior to joining MySpace, he was Senior Editorial Producer of CNN???s ???Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer.???
