Programming and Student Coordinator
This position works directly with Director of Programs. Program duties include: processing reservations and tracking payments, creating seating charts, table signs, name badges and tickets. S/he is responsible for staffing events, overseeing transporting materials to/from venue, sending emails to members and keeping calendars and databases updated. Student coordinator duties include: recruiting new schools, inviting schools, reservations, research and correspondence, distributing briefing packets, organizing students, evaluations, write-ups and tracking reports. Grant writing/research experience a plus but not required. Off-hours occasionally required. Attention to detail a must. Knowledge of Raisers Edge and Crystal Reports a plus but not required. Must be able to carry 15 lbs. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, strong organizational skills, verbal and written skills. The successful candidate will enjoy being a liaison with school administrators and students in a fast-paced, event-oriented environment. Must be proficient in MS Office and comfortable learning database management. Good customer service and organizational skills a must.
