This is Governor Brown's sixth visit to Town Hall Los Angeles and his second as Governor.
Although unemployment rates fell in September, California still had the third highest unemployment rate in the nation. California has cut back or eliminated multiple programs in the midst of the financial crisis and a budget deficit. In the last four years alone, California's schools have been hit with $20 billion in cuts, over 30,000 fewer teachers and class sizes that are among the largest in the country.
